The Southport Junior Yacht Club Sailing Foundation is pleased to be the Organizing Authority for the 2024 Maine State Opti Championship Regatta!  Join us on Wednesday July 31 & Thursday August 1 at the Southport Yacht Club to witness the enthusiasm and skill of Maine's Opti sailors.  We expect 50 excited sailors in the RWB and Green Fleets. Our volunteers look forward to welcoming sailors from across the State, for a memorable regatta racing on the Sheepscot River.

The Notice of Race includes a schedule of events and important information if you are planning to join us. The 2024 Notice of Race & Registration can be found through the Regatta Management Solutions at the website below.  Registration is online only, open through July 29, 2024.

SYC Members: Help make our club shine! We need volunteers to help with parking, launching, serving lunches, getting spectators on the water and hosting some traveling sailors and coaches overnight.  Please reach out to regatta chairs Chace Brinegar or Maddie Rideout.
